Whether you create a necklace, bracelet, or earrings, this hands-on experience will allow you to design meaningful, personalized items that reflect the values of unity, creativity, and community. Joy Joshua is a jewelry maker and instructor with a successful track record of hosting almost 40 workshops at the Chicago Public Library, servicing over 600 patrons city-wide.

During this immersive and hands-on course, Students will embark on a journey to discover the art of creating unique jewelry pieces using beads, raw materials, and metals.

Under the expert guidance of Joy Joshua, each student will delve into intricate techniques and uncover the secrets behind crafting beautiful jewelry. After learning these skills students will have the opportunity to make their own necklace, bracelet and/or earrings to take home. Each session will unveil new possibilities, allowing you to create pieces that express your unique style and taste.
